The fourth-biggest chain of pizza restaurants in the US is called Papa John's. Jefferson, Kentucky, serves as the location of its initial headquarters. "In 1984, Papa John Schnatter launched the first Papa John's eatery. He ran the company out of a nearby tavern and used the proceeds from the sale of his Camaro Z28 as funding. Owing to its growing popularity, Papa John's restaurant had to move. Papa John's went public as a company in 1993. It grew to more than 1,500 locations around the country. Popular menu options besides pizza are chicken wings, garlic sauce, and dessert. There are currently more than 5,199 Papa John's franchises operating both domestically and abroad. Global franchise locations can be found throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America. John Schnatter left his position as Papa John's CEO in 2017. They currently have headquarters in the Atlanta, Georgia, metropolitan area as well as Louisville, Kentucky, as of 2021. Over $2.1 billion was earned by Papa John's in total sales last year. The corporation has about fifteen thousand workers.
